On the morning of 13th June 2025, People’s Committee of Tuy Phuoc district and Embassy of India in Vietnam held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Project “Building 02 classrooms of Phuoc Thuan kindergarten, Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh Province” in Quick Impact projects funded by Government of Republic of India. Attending the Inauguration Ceremony were Mr. Sandeep Arya, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam; Mrs. Suveta Singh, Ambassador’s Spouse; Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, Director of Foreign Affairs Department; Mr. Nguyen Hung Tan, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Tuy Phuoc District and the leading representatives of relevant agencies.

The project has a total budget of VND 1,9 billion, including a grant of USD 50,000 (equivalent to over VND 1,2 billion) from Government of India. It was constructed in the area of 235 square meters, consisting of two well-designed, spacious classrooms. The building was commenced on 20th January 2025 and completed on 20th May 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Tan, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Tuy Phuoc District, expressed his sincere thanks to Government of India, Embassy of India in Vietnam for their financing the project implementation in the district, contributing to ensuring the long-term semi-boarding services and the quality of childcare and education, as well as gradually improving the local infrastructure pursuant to the approved master plan for the development of Phuoc Thuan commune center, Tuy Phuoc District.
Accordingly, Mr. Sandeep Arya, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam expressed his delight at the scheduled completion of the two classrooms at Phuoc Thuan Kindergarten and noted that this grant was in Quick Impact projects funded by Government of India to some localities in Vietnam. The project “Building 02 classrooms of Phuoc Thuan kindergarten, Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh Province” stands as a testament to the lasting, good friendship between India and Vietnam. Mr. Sandeep Arya hoped that the project would be used for the right purposes and in the coming time the two parties would continue to organize more cooperative activities, contributing to boosting the cooperative relationship between India and Vietnam in general, Binh Dinh province in particular more strongly, profoundly and comprehensively in all fields./.
