After the success of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week (Binh Dinh Amazing Fest 2024) and to continue attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Binh Dinh, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province organizes the 2024 summer tourism events, with the highlight of Teqball International 2024, which will be first held in Binh Dinh, Vietnam (June 6-9, 2024)
Teqball is a sport that combines elements of soccer and table tennis, notably the ball is played on a specially-curved table. Teqball is soccer-based sport without physical contact between players. Therefore, players rarely encounter injuries during training and competition.

Hosting the 2024 Teqball International Tournament in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province aims to contribute to attracting tourists to Binh Dinh - a land rich in natural resources and with extraordinary people, creating a highlight and making deep impression on both domestic and foreign visitors. This also gradually introduces and brings the image of Binh Dinh province to the world, serving investment attraction and social-economic development of the province.
Mr. Béla Müller - Head of Communications and Public Relations Division - International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) provided some information about the 2024 International Teqball Tournament in Vietnam, as follows:
- Teqball International 2024 - Teqball World Series takes place on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th of June 2024 at Quy Nhon beach, with the participation of 131 teams from 53 countries in the world.
- A number of world-class athletes from such countries as Poland, Hungary, Thailand, France, United States and China will come to Quy Nhon in the early days of June 2024 to practise and get acquainted with the location to get ready for their best performance at the tournament.
- During outdoor competition, players often pay attention to factors such as sunlight, wind and temperature. Thus, it is understandable that the Organizing Committee chose the location at Quy Nhon beach - a place with quite ideal climate and weather.
- The countries having a large number of athletes at the tournament include Hungary, Thailand, Denmark, USA, Brazil, Poland, Serbia, Romania, Lebanon, Tunisia and France. Besides, there are many talented players from other countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Senegal, Italy, Argentina, Colombia and hopefully Vietnam will also participate in this great event.
Currently, the Organizing Committee and Quy Nhon city authority are actively and urgently completing the preparatory work along with other related activities namely cuisine cultural festival, kite flying, fireworks, etc. to create a vibrant atmosphere to welcome this great event as well as express the unique cultural identity of Binh Dinh to serve tourists.

The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) currently has more than 150 member national federations, more than 4,000 clubs around the world and more than 800 well-trained referees. FITEQ has organized 5 World Cups (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023).
