Investment promotion conference of German enterprises in Binh Dinh province, opportunities to exploit the potential and advantages of both sides

To promote the investment attraction activities, expand international cooperation relations, enhance the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province; after discussion and agreement with the Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 137/KH-UBND on October 17, 2022 on organizing an investment promotion conference for German enterprises in the province. Accordingly, the conference will be held in face-to-face and online form, starting at 2pm on the 20th and ending at 11:30 am on November 21st, 2022 at the Provincial Convention Center.

According to the plan, the conference will be prepared and organized on a large, solemn and methodical basis. Except for about 100 businesses of the Federal Republic of Germany from countries in Asia, Europe and all over the world; more than 50 typical enterprises of Binh Dinh province and some important Vietnamese corporations, there are the representatives of the functional agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam such as the German Ambassador, the German Consul General, the Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK), German Business Association (GBA), European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), German Asia-Pacific Business Association; leaders of ministries and central agencies, Binh Dinh province, the departments, agencies and districts of Binh Dinh province. The German delegates will be welcomed by at Anya Premier hotel (No. 44 An Duong Vuong Street, Quy Nhon City), then (at 2pm on November 20, 2022) sent to visit the site at Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park (with area of more than 1000 ha) and Nhon Hoi Industrial Park (with area of more than 600 ha), which are no more than 15km away from Quy Nhon City center and Quy Nhon Port. At the site, the industrial park technical infrastructure investors and the provincial Economic Zone Management Board will introduce and answer all the questions of the businesses and investors with full and detailed information about the technical infrastructure planning, investment projects, investment registration procedures, investment license deadlines, project implementation, etc.
In the morning of November 21st, 2022, the conference will be solemnly opened at the Provincial Convention Center with a variety of contents that include introduction on potential, geographical locations, guidelines, policies and procedures, key investment projects of the province, and also discussions and listening to the provincial leaders' commitments to accompany the German investors when they implement the investment projects in the province; after that, the Provincial People's Committee signs investment registration agreements with a number of enterprises registering before and during the conference. In addition, at the conference, the delegates also directly exchange ideas related to the conference topic and the province's investment attraction environment from the online participants at some other countries with the functional bodies of Vietnam and Binh Dinh province through Zoom software. At the conference, the delegates can also access and learn more about the contents and documents related to the investment attraction environment, implementation of the projects in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and other industrial zones and clusters in Binh Dinh province through a system of computers already connected to the network arranged at the conference hall area.
