Provincial Party Secretary receives Yongsan District delegation

On the morning of May 1, 2025, at the Provincial Party Committee Office, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, received the delegation of Yongsan District (Seoul City, Korea) led by Ms. Park Heeyoung, Mayor. Also attending the reception were representative leaders of departments, agencies and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Quy Nhon City People's Committee.

At the reception, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung expressed his pleasure to welcome Ms. Park Heeyoung and her delegation. This visit demonstrates the close friendship and cooperation between Quy Nhon City and Yongsan District over the past 29 years. On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Party Secretary thanked Yongsan District for its support to Quy Nhon City in effectively promoting cooperation activities in the fields of education, training, health care and culture.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized, Binh Dinh Province always considers cooperation with Korean localities and enterprises as one of the top priorities in its investment attraction policy. Currently, the province has 5 FDI projects of Korea with a total registered capital of nearly 103 million USD. It is expected that another large Korean corporation will invest in the tourism sector in the province, making an important contribution to the development of this key economic sector.
He also shared some outstanding results and development orientations of the province in the coming time, including the plan to restore charter flights between Korean airports and Phu Cat Airport, aiming to attract more and more Korean tourists in general and from Yongsan district in particular to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh.

To continue to maintain and develop this friendly relationship in the context of the implementation of the Central Government's policy on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units and building a two-level local government model, comrade Ho Quoc Dung suggested that the leaders of Quy Nhon City and Yongsan District proactively exchange and discuss, moving towards building an exemplary model of cooperation between the two localities of Viet Nam and Korea.

The Mayor appreciated the attention and facilitation of the Binh Dinh Provincial leaders and the efforts of the Quy Nhon City leaders in developing a sustainable friendly and cooperative relationship between the two localities. She affirmed that Yongsan District will continue to accompany Quy Nhon on the journey of expanding cooperation in many fields, contributing to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two countries of Korea and Viet Nam.
