Leader of the Provincial People’s Committee receives courtesy call by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam

On the afternoon of November 17th, 2020, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee received the courtesy call by H.E. Ibnu Hadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam. The reception was attended by the leaders of the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Planning and Investment and Economic Zone Administration.
At the reception, on behalf of the leaders of the province, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh warmly welcomed H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam and his team to Binh Dinh province, especially to the province on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Indonesia (December 30th, 1955 - December 30th, 2020).
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee informed H.E. Ambassador of the brief information on the socio-economic development, strengths and potential of the province, investment attraction, tourism development, recent quick development of the traffic infrastructure, good socio-economic targets achieved, improved living standards, cooperation and import-export activities of the enterprises of the two sides.
He expressed his thanks to H.E. Ambassador Ibnu Hadi for his love and working visit to the province. He hoped to receive H.E. Ambassador’s continued introduction of Binh Dinh province to the Indonesian people and enterprises so that they could invest in Binh Dinh province and Vietnam in the time to come, contributing to consolidation of the bilateral friendly and cooperative relation.
Speaking at the meeting, H.E. Ibnu Hadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam thanked Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh for the warm reception. He highly valued the socio-economic development of the province. On the second visit to the province, he felt happy with the changes and development of the province. He offered congratulations on the success of the 20th provincial party congress. In spite of his term to be finished in December 2020, he affirmed that he would put his greatest efforts into bolstering the bilateral cooperation relation and continue to introduce the Indonesian investors to Binh Dinh province, contributing to promotion of the relation between the two countries.
The diplomatic relation between Vietnam and Indonesia was officially established in 1955 and upgraded to the strategic partnership in 2013. Japfa Comfeed Vietnam opened its branch in Nhon Hoa Industrial Zone, Nhon Hoa ward, An Nhon town, Binh Dinh province and Mr. Junairi Sungkono, an Indonesian national, is the director of this branch. An animal feed mill of this branch was inaugurated on November 18th, 2020 in Nhon Hoa Industrial zone.
