Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam received by Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee

This morning (20.11), at the Headquarters of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee met with H.E. Mr. Park Noh-wan, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam and his team members to discuss the measures to tighten the relation between the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and Binh Dinh province.
At the meeting, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee briefly introduced the Ambassador to the infrastructure and potential in marine economy and tourism of the province and highly valued the relation of cooperation between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district (Seoul, the Republic of Korea). He said that the province had paid very close attention to expanding the investment and trade cooperation with the Korean partners, so every year it carried out the investment promotion activities in the Republic of Korea; however, the results achieved was not satisfactory. Therefore, he suggested H.E. Ambassador continue paying attention and giving his support in strengthening the investment, trade and tourism cooperation between the two sides. Binh Dinh is looking forward to establishing the cooperation relation with one locality of the Republic of Korea and receiving the support from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam in organizing an investment promotion conference in Quy Nhon city in early 2021, he expressed.
With the information provided, H.E. Mr. Park Noh-wan, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam expressed his hope that the upgrading of Phu Cat airport to the international airport would be an important factor for Quy Nhon city to become the second tourist destination after Da Nang city, contributing to expansion of cooperation, exchanges and enhancement of the friendship between the two sides. Furthermore, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam will actively provide support for the province to establish the relationship with a localitiy of the Republic of Korea and to prepare for the investment promotion conference in Quy Nhon city.
On the visit to Binh Dinh province this time, H.E. Mr. Park Noh-wan, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam also paid a courtesy call on the leaders of Quy Nhon city People’s Committee on the afternoon of November 19th.
